I just want John and Halsey to meet again. In my opinion she sees John as a son figure, she is always defending him and is constantly telling people not to underestimate him. Then they tell her he is dead and she tries to deny it, but then maybe she began to doubt her conviction. That is why when she finds out that he is alive she goes and smacks the shit out of Lasky for not telling her. Like any mother, she is not worried about what consequences may arise from that action because they kept that crucial information from her. I know a lot of people hate Catherine for what she did and the fact that she is not remorseful about any of it. For me though, she will always have my respect because when it comes to John she doesn’t take any shit from anyone, just like a real mother.

The geas of Master Chief
I have a big problem with the argument that Master Chief’s deeds are no longer valid because they were predetermined by the Librarian. Why do I have a problem with this? Because they weren’t predetermined. That’s just not how a geas works, and there’s no indication at all given to the contrary in Halo 4.

Masterchief, Born for the soul purpose of War, bred as a Highly Deadly mercenary and is the Highest Ranked of his kind. Respectfully he kept his rank of “Master Chief” due to the liking of the name. War after War he fought for the survival of mankind against the Covenant Force suffering the repercussions of being lost in space for almost a decade. With a loving A.I (Cortana) by his side keeping up the comic relief during game play (and annoying the fuck out of you) it is hard to not love the story line of this Famous video game character and has ranked a hard to swallow #7.
