Bleach characters playing FFXIV headcanons (Part 1)
Kenpachi - Powerleved Marauder to 50 without getting the 15 levels required of Gladiator in order to become a Warrior, so he’s not playing up to his full potential.
Ikkaku - He’s unlocked Dragoon but plays as Lancer for the most part because he doesn’t want people to know he’s got Dragoon unlocked. It’s mostly in respect to Kenpachi; if Ken can get to 50 without a soul gem, so can he.
Orihime - She got to White Mage pretty easily, but she wishes she could DPS more. She tends to forget to go into Cleric Stance when she does try to DPS.
Yoruichi - She’s got levels in everything, with Monk, Black Mage, and Paladin at level 50. She likes to switch classes as needed to help out others, which is why she learned a little bit of everything.
Started miner today and got to level 20. And all of the stuff I mined helped me get armorer to 5, goldsmith to 7, and blacksmith to 2. It’s kind of cool how everything is tied together. I also started fishing and got that to five. The only thing I haven’t started is carpentry. I’m trying to get things more evenly leveled so I can ditch low level equipment, so I’ll probably start that before too long.
Carol, Dennis, and I were partied up leveling up low jobs in South Shroud when all of a sudden
Sure enough, the weather was doing the thing it does when Odin pops. So everyone’s like “Where’s Odin?” and shouting about being level 50 looking for Odin party.
Odin was in North Shroud, so we switched to our 50 jobs (Carol to her 42 whm) and teleported to Fallgourd Float and went from there. By the time we got there, there were too many people there and they were all spamming AoEs (which btw makes Odin not render properly), so I spent more time raising and healing people than actually attacking Odin.
I did manage to target Odin a few times, though.
Unfortunately we didn’t succeed at finishing him off before he unleashed his final attack, which killed a lot of us there. Luckily someone was nice enough to raise me, so I then went and raised as many people as I could.
It was definitely an experience! I hope I get to do that again, except without the everyone dying part!
Did a story Garuda run today with members of my free company. We had a paladin, a monk, a bard, and I went as scholar. It was kind of nerve wracking for me because the last story dungeon I did as a healer was Haukke Manor. But we got Garuda on the first try! So that helps my confidence a bit. I still prefer to be a DPS though.
So Nintendo shut off SpotPass for Swapnote because people were of course sending inappropriate images over it. So it is pretty much useless because now you can only send Swapnotes in StreetPass mode. Who even does that? To everyone who abused it, thanks a lot for fucking it up for those of us who used Swapnote for appropriate things.
Ok I’m not going to lie. I used a name generator! Which didn’t actually suggest Senah Moshroca or Piercing Rain, exactly. I basically generated names until I found both a first name and last name I liked, and put them together.
I picked Senah because it can be pronounced like Senna and I thought that would be pretty easy to remember. Moshroca just sounds neat. ^_^
Piercing Rain was actually a little tougher. Burning Rain, Void Star, and Burning Arrow were some other names that could have been used. I went with Piercing Rain because it fits a lancer or an archer. I knew she’d be starting out in Gridania and I didn’t want to do CNJ so it was either lancer or archer.
On a very hilarious sidenote, these are names that the generator came up with that I did not use for obvious reasons: Salty Swallow, Lethal Weed, Mythic Fluff.
